Congratulations: UKIPT Winner
Andrew Couldridge, from London, has just been crowned champion of UKIPT Nottingham, winning £80,000 as the lone survivor from four days of action at Dusk Till Dawn card room. He battled superbly throughout more than 20 hours of play, and then as the tournament entered its death throes, he could suddenly do no wrong.
All from Harlow Hounds wish Andrew all the best and look forward to playing with him at Harlow on a regular basis.

WORLD Darts Championship finalist Simon ‘The Wizard’ Whitlock praised Harlow Greyhound Stadium owner Dave Barclay for the confidence shown in him after the Australian beat some of the game’s greatest players to reach his first PDC final.
The softly spoken 40-year-old Australian, received a five-figure sponsorship sum from Barclay and could be seen wearing a shirt bearing the logo of the Pinnacles track throughout the tournament shown live on Sky Sports.

Darts has taken the sporting spotlight at the start of 2009 with two World Championships and the popularity of the sport was reflected at Harlow Greyhound Stadium on Saturday. More than 240 players entered the Harlow Darts Open II, including four that played at the BDO World Championships at Lakeside: Robert Hughes, Ross Smith, Steve West and Simon Whitlock.

A CASH machine containing more than £1000 was stolen from Harlow Greyhound Stadium after the building was ram-raided on Monday morning. The theft was discovered by staff as they arrived for work at the Roydon Road stadium later on that morning. - more info

New bus route to Harlow Greyhound Stadium - more info
A NEW bus route has been created for people wishing to have a night out at Harlow's Greyhound Stadium. It is hoped the new route, created in conjunction with bus operator Arriva, will encourage more people to use public transport this Christmas and New Year rather than drink and drive.The route, number 126, starts at the bus station in Harlow town centre, stops at the train station before heading onto the stadium in The Pinnacles.
